I've been a CR practitioner for over ten years. To sustain an athletic yoga practice, teaching schedule, and to spearhead development on our website and the Dietplanner, my diet must support me. With the constraints of being a vegan vegetarian, and with over seventy five percent of my foods eaten raw, every food I choose is important. I'll post what I use daily as well as some of my favorite recipes.
People in a long lived population will have to take care of their spine, neck, shoulders and hips. Hatha yoga is a perfect model for a life-long exercise program. With the guidance of a good teacher, the style can change to accomodate any age or physical condition. A yoga practice can be designed with all of the following;
  • Aerobic sequences for cardiovascular health
  • Weight bearing exercises to maintain bone density
  • Movements and poses designed to support full range of motion
  • Postures which elicit the relaxation response and thus support a healthy immune system
