Here's how it works. Simply record all of the foods that you eat during one day. Include the amount; as a serving size, or in cups, ounces or grams. For example, one apple, or one serving of Betty Crocker Apple Pie (the serving size will be listed on the box), or 1/4 cup of applesauce. For your own benefit, list all of the foods you eat. We can identify sources of good as well as harmfull nutrients that might surprise you.
For instance, did you know that dried apricots are a valuable source of Vitamin A? Or that four brazil nuts gives you 75% of your selenium needs for a day? Clams and lobster are other good sources of this anti-oxident, but four brazil nuts makes a very easy and healthy snack. Just make sure you stick to four, as the fat content in brazil nuts, as in all nuts, is quite high.
